What the app keeps

Your first name, your assessment scores, the days you mark done, your plan in your own words, the cards you keep, and any notes you write.

If you never add your email, all of it stays in this browser on this device. Nobody else can see it, including us. Clearing your browser data erases it.

If you add your email, the same things are saved to your account so they follow you to any device. Only you can read your rows. The database is run by Supabase.

Your email

We use it to sign you in with a code. We also send one welcome email, a reminder if you have not started your daily practice, a short reminder if a week or more goes by without a card (three at most, then we stop until you come back), and a reminder when it is time to re-take your assessment. Your scores are never put in an email. That is all.

Every email comes from app@send.insightfulrecoverysolutions.org and has a link to stop them. You can also turn them off on the Account page. Emails are sent through Resend.

The written reflection

If you tap Write my reflection on the Progress page, your first name, your total score and tier, and the names and ratings of your three focus areas are sent to Anthropic, the AI company, to write the reflection. Nothing is sent unless you tap it. Under its business terms, Anthropic does not use it to train its AI and keeps it only for a limited time for safety checks.

Feedback

If you answer the questions on the feedback page and tap Send, your answers and the name you type are emailed to Tye and to Yuri Strohm, who builds and runs the app. Nothing else from the app goes with them. They stay in those two inboxes until deleted. Ask and we will delete yours.

What we never do

We never sell your information, never share it with an employer, program or agency, and never show you ads.

This is not a clinical tool and not a diagnosis.

How long we keep it

On this phone: until you clear it (Settings, Start fresh on this phone) or clear your browser data.

In your account: until you delete your account. Deleting removes your account and every row under it from the database right away.

Who it is for

Adults 18 and older in the United States. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we delete it.

Where it runs

The app is hosted by Vercel and the database is run by Supabase. Emails go through Resend. None of them may use your information for anything except running the app.

Like every website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run the app and keep it safe. We do not use them to track you.

The app uses your browser's own storage to keep your work and, if you sign in, to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no analytics, no ads.

Who can reach the systems

Yuri Strohm (WhyStrohm) builds and runs the app for Insightful Recovery Solutions. He can reach the database and email service only to run the app, send its emails and carry out deletions. He does not read your entries.

Keeping it safe

Every database table is locked so each account can reach only its own rows. Keys stay on the server, never in the app. Pages are sent over HTTPS only, and the AI and feedback addresses are rate limited.

If something goes wrong

If your information is ever exposed without your permission, we will email you without delay, and no later than 60 days after we find out, with what happened and what you can do.

The law, and changes

If the law requires it, we share only what a valid legal order demands, and tell you unless we are not allowed to. If Insightful Recovery Solutions is ever sold or merges, these promises go with your data.

We do not track you across other sites, so browser Do Not Track signals change nothing here. If this page changes in a way that matters, we update the date above and tell signed-in users by email.

Delete everything

Signed in: open Settings and tap Delete my account and data. Your account and every row under it are removed for good.
